Arts and Crafts Specialist:

Entering first year of college and older (18 years old).

Develop or assist in the development of the curriculum as well as implementation for art program.

Nurse:

Nurses, APRN, or EMT's may apply for this position.

This is not necessarily a full summer commitment.

Schedule and timing will be discussed with Camp head nurse.

Health Center Support Staff:

Staff to assist the medical teams with administrative tasks for completion.

There are very limited openings and are set up for families to barter.

Head of Health Center:

The Head of the Health Center is responsible for overseeing the health and safety of campers and staff at Camp Laurelwood.

The Head of the Health Center oversees all health center employees.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to): 1. Provide health care to meet individual needs of camp staff and campers 2. Set up the camp Health Center. 3. Organize, maintain, and utilize adequate resources for serving the health and medical needs of the campers and staff. 4. Inventory and order all necessary medical supplies and equipment. 5. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records according to state and American Camp Association Standards. 6. Oversee First Aid procedures and supplies. 7. Ensure a staff orientation session is delivered on medical services. 8. Screen all campers and staff who are arriving and departing camp. Qualifications: (Minimum Education and Experience) * Registered nurse (RN) with a license as required by that state law. *CPR certified. *Current First aid certification and experience in first aid and emergency management. *Driver’s license. *Experience in both children and adult illness/injury care. *Desire to work with children and young adults. *Community health knowledge.

Maintenance Supervisor:

This position oversees the seasonal maintenance staff and housekeeping staff.

Housekeeping Staff:

Ensure that all buildings and campsite are cleaned daily.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nanny:

This person works with our pre-kindergarten children who have parents working at camp.
