Camp Laurelwood Day Camp is a diverse community focusing on Jewish Values. Campers and staff join us from a wide range of religious affiliations. Values are woven into everything we do at camp and everyone, no matter their belief, is welcome at Camp Laurelwood.
Our day campers enjoy all of Laurelwood’s renovated and expanded facilities and programs throughout our beautiful 140+ acre campus. Day campers enjoy daily swim lessons, boating, low ropes course challenges, tennis, soccer, volleyball and softball instruction. They also participate in drama, nature, arts & crafts, music, Israeli culture and special events.
*Campers must be going into Kindergarten and have turned the age of 5 by June 2022

All staff go through at least 40 hours of pre-camp training & development
Camp Laurelwood offers a nutritious kid friendly lunch. in a *nut free* setting. Traditional lunches include chicken tenders, pizza, meatball grinders, mac & cheese and pasta. Each main course includes a side dish. A salad bar and fruit are available. Each lunch concludes with dessert.
Our expert chefs are able to accommodate all types of specialty diets/allergies and will work with you and your camper to ensure a safe and delicious dining experience.
Campers are also provided with an afternoon snack.

When does Camp Laurelwood Day Camp run?
Day Camp runs for all 7 weeks of the summer (June 27 to Aug 12) Monday-Friday from 9-5 with before and after care options available.
Who is eligible for Day Camp?
Our Day Camp program is for rising Kindergarteners through rising 7th graders. It is its own division of camp with campers in separate day camp bunks, grouped by age, but participating in activities alongside our overnight campers.
When do I need to sign up?
Sign ups can take place between now and May 1, but our early bird registration discount goes until the end of February.
How long do I need to sign up for?
Campers can register for Day Camp for an entire session (2, 3, 4, or 7 weeks) or can choose individual weeks throughout the summer.
What is included?
Day Campers will enjoy all of the same high quality programming offers as our overnight campers, including swimming (with lessons), boating, archery, high and low ropes, nature, arts and crafts, woodworking, music, theater, dance, cooking, digital media, soccer, basketball, softball, tennis, martial arts, and more!
What about lunch?
A daily full hot lunch and snack is also included for all campers.
Is there extended care available?
For an additional charge, early morning care is available daily from 7-9, which includes breakfast, and afternoon care from 5-7 including dinner.
Is transportation available?
Bussing to and from camp is available as part of your tuition. Bus stops include: Madison, Guilford, and Branford. You also have the option to drop off and pick up your camper at Camp Laurelwood (8:50-9:00 am dropoff, 4:50-5:00 pm pickup).
