An opportunity for rookie or first time campers to fully immerse themselves in the excitement and wonder of the Laurelwood sleepaway experience.
Campers can begin their Laurelwood journey as they enter Kindergarten by trying out our amazing day camp.
From there, each summer they will grow, make new friends, and experience new adventures.
At Camp Laurelwood, our campers grow into Staff-in-Training, then eventually can apply to be on staff.
Growing up at camp can mean making camp your summer home for many years!
Each program will combine immersive, professional instruction and skill development with our high-energy summer camp fun for an intense, well-rounded experience.
Campers will master new skills, make new friends and gain a stronger sense of community with an emphasis on the values of teamwork, cooperation and sportsmanship.
Camp Laurelwood is a great place for your child to learn to swim! We have a beautiful lake, 2 pools, and lots of opportunity for campers to participate in aquatics programming.
In addition to recreational swimming, campers in grades K-7 have instructional swim approximately 5 times throughout the week. Our qualified instructors teach them on their level, and provide safe and fun activities to promote swim development.

We would like to introduce you to our Community Care Team, which is a big part of our work on Mental, Emotional, Social, and Spiritual Health (MESSH). The team is led by Elizabeth Kaplan, our year-round Community Care Director. Lisa Lebowitz is joining us as our summer Camper and Staff Care Coordinator, and Gretchen Miller Marino is joining us as our Mental Health Professional.
